Even for an apple product, this product is over priced. I dont have to click so far down to type and it doesn't make as much noise when typing. the key-board is "recessed." It takes some adjustment, but it ends up being a great feature. Also, there is a fingerprint sensor which can be used to approve apple pay transactions, login from sleep, and for the password required when making changes that require admin credentials. That might have been easily overlooked in the past, but at a time when many people have been working from home for. My bootup time is right at 25 to 26 seconds (from being completely off to the home screen after entering password). The transfer speeds are incredible (if you other device is capable of it most of mine are not.) the laptop is superfast (for almost all non IT folks). In fact, I am happy with the choice for usb-c due to its reverse compatibility with basically any type and generation of wired connection. For me, it has not caused any inconveniences to this point. The whole USB-C ports only thing is inconvenient for someone who frequently uses wired connectio ns. it weighs very slightly more than my 13 inch macbook pro, but feels much lighter because the weight is spread out. It has very small profile for being a 15 inch laptop and its one of my favorite aspects of this device. I was able to get nearly 12 hours at half brightness while creating some powerpoints, word docs, and browsing. Given the 15 inch screen size and the added touchbar, the battery life is still very good.

A full charge from 1% usually takes around 2.5 hours. The touchbar is not as groundbreaking as one would imagine, and it requires some upgrades/modifications to be a standout feature. This is a wonderful laptop that has long list of useful features. You’re not the only one And you should be able to fix the problem quite easily using one of the solutions we’ve listed below. If you’re experiencing this problem, don’t worry.
